Job Summary: The Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
• Define the most important social media KPIs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align social media content with marketing goals
Content Creation:
• Create and manage high-quality, engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
• Plan and execute a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
Community Mangement
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report on social media sentiment and public conversations about the brand.
• Foster a sense of community and build relationships with followers.
Analytics and Reporting:
• Use social media marketing tools to track performance and gather insights.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare monthly reports on social media performance.
Advertising:
• Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Optimize ad performance through A/B testing and targeting strategies.
• Trends and Innovations:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Experiment with new content formats and social media features.
Collaboration:
• Work with other departments (e.g., customer service, product development) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
• Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and engagement.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
• Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram other social media best practices.
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Experience with social media management tools
• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new trends and opportunities.
