Job purpose: Managing organization's social media presence and activities to ensure stakeholders engagement, enhance brand awareness and visibility
Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or a related field. Certifications or coursework in digital marketing or social media management would be a plus. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing social media and possess knowledge of graphic designing. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with an NGO / Community Organizations in Social Development sector preferred.
Job description:
Ensure that new and consistent information (about organisation work, videos, photographs, testimonials, article links, success stories, and events etc.) are posted regularly.
Preparing calendar and scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
Designing of content, shooting and editing of videos/ reels when required to ensure that posts impactful and engaging.
Keeping abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications.
Build contact and network with media contacts, and publishers.
Research similar websites and social media handle of NGO's and upgrade the content of Adhar as per audience responses.
Monitoring users' engagement with feedback on every post.
Analysis and reporting on the effects of publications.
Increase followers and likes by engaging and follow up with staff, parents, donor database and other mode/ social media ads etc.
Any other tasks as assigned by the reporting officer.
