Job Overview:
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role requires a creative individual with strong communication skills and a passion for digital marketing. The Social Media Executive will manage all social media channels, campaigns, and content to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. •Strategy Development:•
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies.
- Align social media strategies with business goals and objectives.
2. •Content Creation:•
- Create and curate engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Write and edit posts, improving audience engagement and optimizing for SEO.
3. •Social Media Management:•
- Manage and oversee social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Respond to queries and engage with followers in a timely manner.
4. •Campaign Management:•
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement, leads, and sales.
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
5. •Community Engagement:•
- Foster and grow an active and engaging online community.
- Manage community interactions, ensuring positive engagement and handling any negative feedback professionally.
6. •Trend Monitoring:•
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and best practices.
7. •Collaboration:•
- Work with marketing, PR, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Coordinate with influencers and manage influencer marketing initiatives.
8. •Analytics and Reporting:•
- Analyze competitor activity and industry trends.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on social media performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Knowledge of online marketing channels.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns.
