The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and executing the bakery's social media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms to help grow our online presence and engage with our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging, high-quality content (posts, images, videos) that aligns with the brand voice, to promote our products, special offers, events, and seasonal promotions.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of all social media accounts, including scheduling posts, community engagement, and responding to comments/messages.
• Create strategies to increase the brand's visibility and engagement across platforms by utilizing creative campaigns, giveaways, influencer collaborations, and user-generated content.
• Monitor performance metrics for social media campaigns, track engagement, reach, and conversions, and prepare monthly reports for the management team.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and build a loyal community around the brand.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest new ways to enhance the company's social media presence.
• Help promote special events, offers, and product launches via social media platforms.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.), photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), and content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate unique content ideas.
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and other web traffic tools is a plus.
• A passion for food, particularly baked goods, and an appreciation for the bakery industry.
