Role Clarity: Social Media Executive

Position Overview : The Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and enhancing the social media presence of our clients across multiple platforms. This role demands creativity, strategic planning, and effective communication to develop engaging content that aligns with client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Calendar Development :

Create and maintain content calendars that outline daily, weekly, and monthly posts for clients.

Schedule posts according to optimal engagement times and client-specific requirements.

Strategy and Planning:

Collaborate with clients to develop and refine social media strategies that align with their business objectives.

Plan and execute social media campaigns that increase brand visibility and engagement.

Content Creation and Management:

Coordinate with video editors and graphic designers to produce visually appealing and relevant content for different platforms.

Use tools like Canva and ChatGPT to create topical posts and craft compelling captions.

Encourage and assist clients in creating engaging formats such as reels and stories.

Client Interaction and Accountability:

Regularly meet with clients to discuss content plans, gather feedback, and ensure their needs are being met.

Take accountability for the quality and effectiveness of social media activities.

Platform Management:

Manage and update client profiles across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Ensure consistent and high-quality content posting on all social media platforms.

Engagement and Optimization:

Track progress and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns.

Improve video editing by providing feedback to the video team and suggesting enhancements.

Find the best times for posting and ensure adherence to these schedules to maximize engagement.

Promotional Activities:

Ensure clients are actively sharing content within their networks, including WhatsApp stories.

Encourage clients to engage with their audience through interactive and innovative content.

Viral Content Creation:

Continuously strive to create content with the potential to go viral, enhancing client visibility and reach.

Stay updated with current trends and adapt strategies to leverage viral movements in relevant industries.

Scope of Work Compliance:

Ensure all deliverables within the scope of work are completed on time and to a high standard.

Regularly update clients and the internal team on the status of projects and any challenges faced.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience managing social media platforms with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.

Excellent understanding of content creation tools like Canva and knowledge of AI-driven content generation tools such as ChatGPT.

Strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop effective social media content.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail and deadlines.

Reporting Line:

The Social Media Executive will report directly to the Social Media Manager or the Head of Digital Marketing, depending on the organizational structure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
