Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Media Account Manager to join our team, specializing in sports. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with a specific focus on sports-related content. They will be responsible for managing and growing our sports-focused social media accounts, engaging with followers, creating compelling content, and driving brand awareness and engagement.


#### Responsibilities:



• Content Creation and Curation:
+ Develop and curate engaging content for our sports-focused social media accounts, including but not limited to posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and content creators, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
+ Stay updated on sports news, events, and trends to create timely and relevant content that resonates with our audience.

• Community Management:
+ Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on our social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
+ Foster a sense of community among followers by initiating and participating in conversations, polls, and discussions related to sports.
+ Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns effectively, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate teams.

• Audience Engagement and Growth:
+ Implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and reach across all social media platforms.
+ Analyze metrics and insights to identify trends, optimize content performance, and inform future strategies.
+ Collaborate with influencers, athletes, and other partners to expand our social media presence and reach new audiences.

• Campaign Management:
+ Plan, execute, and track social media campaigns and promotions related to sports events, product launches, and brand initiatives.
+ Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment with overall marketing objectives.

• Platform Management:
+ Stay informed about updates, features, and best practices for each social media platform, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
+ Optimize profiles, settings, and content formats to maximize visibility, engagement, and conversion opportunities.



#### Requirements:



• Proven experience managing social media accounts for sports teams, leagues, brands, or related organizations.
• Deep knowledge of sports culture, trends, and fan behavior across different demographics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Familiarity with legal and ethical considerations related to social media marketing, including copyright and privacy laws

#### Preferred Requirements:



• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, preferably in the sports industry.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and strategies to optimize social media content for search visibility.
• Proficiency in graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia skills.
• Certification in social media marketing or related fields.
• Active presence on social media platforms with a demonstrated understanding of engagement tactics and audience behavior.
