Senior Technical Data Analyst will be working directly with the Head of Platform and Change Management for Markets Data Governance Office, implementing data and records management tooling to support the automation of governance across the division.
In depth experience and understanding of data analysis, technology, standards, across different lines of business.
Developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Purview technology such as connectors, APIs to Integrate and other data governance enterprise tools, End-user reporting, Data Quality Tooling, Data Catalogue Tooling, Data Lineage Solutions, Record Management
Customizing workflows withing Microsoft Purview to enable adoption and certifications of the data assets.
Experience of efficiently implementing data governance and management solutions within large financial organisations
Familiarity with external providers of data
Knowledge of Data Governance tools and technologies in support of Data Management
Developing APIs to expose the metadata functionalities to the end-users.
Configuring Application UI screens, validations, and custom style sheets to display customized forms.
Build catalogues by discovering new data sources and harvesting existing data sources.
Address and analyse data, system, and performance issues.
Building utilities in power apps, Sharepoint or other technology platforms to help automate the administration of the function.
Key behaviours and skills required for the role:
Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
Experience in Financial Services
Experience and delivery of Data / CDO / DGO programs
Certification in Purview would be beneficial
Good understanding of data management principles and best practices.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiar with Agile, Jira, Kanban useful.
Excellent data analysis skills and experience in data remediation approaches; (Advanced SQL; Python)
Knowledge of Microsoft tooling; Power Apps, Power Platform; Azure; Apache Atlas; Sharepoint & M365 suite of tools essential.
Understands relational databases, ETL and data architecture in general.
Experience in and knowledge of financial services regulatory framework and policy is beneficial.
