• Hands-on in assembly level programming
• Thorough understanding of CPU/GPGPU architecture, especially of processor/shader subsystem and associated interfaces
• Strong programming skills in C++/C, and scripting skills in Perl/Python
• Knowledge in basic probability and randomization techniques
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog/Verilog, instruction traces is a plus
• Familiarity with compiler design techniques is a bonus

Key Personal Traits: * Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision, either as an individual or in team

• Passionate to work in computer/graphics architecture domain
• Excellent interpersonal skills, growth oriented and collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities: * Understanding of architecture and micro-architecture changes of blocks in shader core and associated subsystems, and interfaces for new features

• Understanding of ISA-feature mapping for the new features to write sanity/unit tests
• Work with verification, modeling, and design engineers of shader subsystem to understand their requirements
• Work includes development of testbench stimulus generator infrastructure
• Add new constraints to the stimulus generator and verify them by writing sanity/unit tests
• Brainstorm and propose enhancements to the existing infrastructure for other applications

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
