The ideal candidate has a strategic demeanor \xe2\x80\x93 specifically, the ability to bring together industry data, business requirements, regional perspectives, and analytics to develop and implement a category strategy for the assigned category of spend \xe2\x80\x93 and the ability to drive results that timely meets targets while delivering a high level of customer service.About Genpact: Provides Business Process Management Services to Clients in multiple business sectors including Manufacturing, Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer goods & retail, Healthcare, High Tech, Media, publishing, entertainment, and private equity firms.About Source to Pay (S2P) and Indirect Sourcing (IS): S2P supports clients in every sector. Indirect Sourcing is part of S2P whose remit is to provide Sourcing services to Client\xe2\x80\x99s who desire to shift from in-house sourcing teams to an external service provider. IS organized by category groupings based on market/spend taxonomy including Professional Services, Labor Services, MRO, Facilities Management, and IT Services..As part of Genpact\xe2\x80\x99s IS function, this Senior Leader is responsible to lead sourcing execution for categories within Professional Services across multiple Client programs. Activities include developing Client specific Category Management strategy, plan, and execution; Develop and maintain client stakeholder relationships to understand their sourcing needs; Define and develop a sourcing strategy and subsequent supplier negotiation plans; and Manage RFx process for mid-level to strategic events to drive savings for Client and mitigate legal and financial risk on their behalf.This role requires working directly with Clients as well as connecting within the broader Indirect Sourcing Category Management and S2P teams. The major interaction will be with the English-speaking customers, in the process of sourcing project planning and execution.ResponsibilitiesProject Management and Program Leadership:Develop project plans, processes, and timelinesIndependently drive programs without supervisionRemain agile to deliver on other ad-hoc data requestsIndependently manage client and escalationsData Management, Analytics, and Reporting:Manage Spend Refresh Process (either through 3rd party tool implementation or manual data collection from client sources)Own data validation, cleansing, normalization, and classificationDesign, manage, and run customized reports for category managers, directors, and executivesLiaise with IT to ensure necessary data requirements and increase knowledge of data flows and storageDevelop and own critical Master Data Management inputsPartner with Data Science team to implement MDM standards across platforms (Spend, Savings, Cash, Contracts, Preferred Supplier, etc.)Become expert on client data & toolsProcess Improvement and Automation:Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automationLead periodic alignment sessions with sourcing leaders and category teams to ensure data accuracy and validationStakeholder Management and Communication:Collaborate closely with Genpact Category Managers on data reporting & analysisConduct executive presentations for project updates and extended training of analytics toolsPartner and influence external stakeholders, including building relationships with IT and corporate levelsQualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma and strong of sourcing experienceWilling to work in different time-zones and geographic regions to connect with Genpact\xe2\x80\x99s Sourcing teams and Client teams.Strong communication and presentation skills a must to demonstrate executive presence and build confidence with Clients.Indirect Sourcing experience in Category Management, Sourcing process, supplier, and stakeholder relationship management.Candidate should have solid and proven track record of handling and managing Professional Services categories with focus on Human Resources and Legal categories.Demonstrated professional verbal/written communication and negotiation skills in English.Knowledge of category markets, impacts of regulatory and legislative changes, changes in supply base (mergers & acquisitions and new entrants), and new technology w/impact to Clients.Strong quantitative and analytical skills, and database proficiency and Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills and an eye towards detailingProblem solving ability, productivity while working efficiently.Exposure to analytics and opportunity assessmentGood understanding of Sourcing & Procurement domainFamiliarity with technology landscape including Data Science, AI, ML, and Data Engineering conceptsKnowledge of big data and analytics architectureCompetency in Indirect Sourcing categoriesKnowledge of systems landscape in Source-to-Pay (S2P) spacePreferred Qualifications/ SkillsCommunicate and execute deliverables in fluent English (Professional Proficient Fluency)Excellent interpersonal communication skillsClear and concise communication, both orally and in writingExecutive presentation skillsAbility to effectively narrate stories from data using compelling presentationsExcellent project management & executionDemonstrated excellent Excel skills (through a Genpact-administered test); Preferably proficient in Power BIStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsDemonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to work under tight timelines, multitasking abilities, and exceptional management capabilityAbility to provide data-driven insights & recommend actionsExperience in people managementSelf-starter than can work independentlyEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationshipsGenpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
