The role of the senior accountant responsible for payroll entails preparing payroll reconciliations, relevant reports, estimating, and compiling company payroll into the general ledger. It is required to work collaboratively with the payroll operations team to make sure that there is smooth delivery of payroll to the companys workforce.What You\'ll Do:Record net pay to employees and manage tax withholding payments in the journal ledger.Process, review and post journal records for payroll and bank transactions.Accounting for the ESPP and Share Based compensation transactions, as per applicable standards.Expert in preparing payroll account reconciliations and conduct analysis of operational data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Summarize financial trends for responding in monthly trend calls, respond to queries, and create comprehensive reports.Lead in support for various payroll-related audits, including benefits and pension audits conducted by third parties.Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules, and maintain correspondence with the global accounting team in the US according to established timelines.Review and monitor closely various account schedules and other required analysis for external auditors.Collaborating with Payroll operations, and other departments to manage payroll-related inquiries from accounting perspective.Guide team in development and documentation of processes and procedures, monitoring of internal controls and identification of opportunities for efficiencies.Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary.What You\'ll Do:MBA/MCom/CA7-8 years of experience in payroll accounting and other general ledger accountsDisplay of proficiency in US GAAP, Local GAAP and general payroll practicesProficiency in accounting software and tools for preparing reconciliation and report (Net Suite Preferred).Experience with a "Shared Resource Centre" will be a big plusStrong written & oral communication skillsProven experience in financial analysis, payroll management and compliance with international accounting standards.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.Positive attitude, passionate and a self-starterStrong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills to manage multiple task and deadlines.Must be detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks at the same time.Able to review and analyze a process, recommend and implement improvements.Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially ExcelWork from Location: Pune, INDShift Time: 2 PM IST to 11 PM IST#LI-SK1#LI-SM1Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awards with option to participate in ESPP in eligible countriesCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangementsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoptionA variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesAccess to CrowdStrike University, LinkedIn Learning and JhannaOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationBirthday time-off in your local countryWork with people who are passionate in our mission and Great Place to Work certified across the globeWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
