SME Lending Expert - Banking/NBFC - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual RoleAt Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.Our client, a global consulting firm, is working with one of the largest NBFCs in India. The project aims to revamp the SME lending strategy, focusing on redesigning the credit journey and simplifying the Credit Assessment Memo (CAM) process.They are currently seeking a seasoned SME Lending Expert with prior credit experience in SME or wholesale banking, with a focus on CAM design.Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultant:- Redesigning the CAM report for SME loans- Providing insights to optimize the credit journey, aiming to reduce TAT- Collaborating with the project team to achieve project objectives- Reporting directly to the project lead or designated manager- Contributing to the broader strategy of the NBFC in the SME and wholesale banking sectorAn ideal candidate would have:- 10+ years of relevant credit experience in SME or wholesale banking, with a focus on CAM design- Familiarity with the banking/NBFC sector, particularly in SME or wholesale creditThis opportunity will be on an initial 1-month contract. The project\'s location is Mumbai, where the expert will be expected to contribute to the team\'s efforts on a part-time basis for 5 hours every week in a remote setup.
