The Quality Assurance Manager directs the development, implementation and continuous improvement of IT quality management programs across the enterprise. This job supervises professional level employees who develop and evaluate equipment and processes to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of products and systems. This job also oversees the performance of various systems, applications and databases.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Monitors, promotes and continuously evaluates quality management initiatives and programs.
• Engages with business leadership to quantify and articulate the business impact of IT quality issues.
• Establishes target goals for IT quality improvement and identifies optimal approaches for resolving IT quality issues to achieve targets.
• Evaluates testing practices and tools to improve the testing process and quality of results.
• Reviews the results of testing sessions, and develops and implements technical improvements.
• Approves the design and development of usability testing programs, cases, scenarios and processes to ensure that all functions are thoroughly tested.
• Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and development of team.

QA Lead \xe2\x80\x93 Product Technology -

Nuveen is seeking a QA Lead \xe2\x80\x93 Product Technology. Reporting to the Product Technology Lead in India, the role is responsible to ensure the applications meet the highest quality standards. This person would develop test processes to improve the safety, reliability and maintainability of products and systems. Working independently with limited supervision, this job oversees the performance of various systems, applications, and databases under the Product Technology group.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

Tech and Data

• In partnership with the technology and business leads, generate excitement and buy-in for the technology and data outcomes quickly, addressing barriers to success.
• As part of roadmap inform the build and partner decisions, and ensure these are funded, supported to enhance client deliverables and scale.
• Partner with colleagues across the enterprise and with external vendors to delivery best in class solutions - measuring success in terms of adoption, usage, improvements, and industry recognition.
• Develop a robust test framework to support regression and automation testing

Business

• Support the global product technology leadership to increase market-share and margin through adoption of technology.
• Implement a process for continuous improvement, lower costs to serve and improving efficiency.
• Develop and deliver scalable solutions that can be applied to clients and the business.
• Support modernization of platforms to align with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s tech strategy

People

• Lead a team of experienced QA engineers focussed on building a new stack of applications for supporting product launches, SMA platforms, advisor portal.
• Drive a passion and core competency across the organization for technology transformation.
• Coordinate comprehensive changes to update how we work or develop new ways of working
• Set the priorities and focus for local and regional teams to support global engineering and delivery of core internal and client products and services.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 10+ years\' experience in QA and a minimum of 5+ years in Asset Management organisation leading QA related to complex and strategically relevant projects. The following skills would be relevant:

• Expertise on Test Automation using Selenium Web Driver/BDD, Cucumber, SauceLabs and other technologies.
• Experience in test automation life cycle and developing the automation framework from scratch.
• Expertise on API testing using Postman/SOAP UI
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field (engineering or computer science or engineering discipline)
• Agile proficient
