Position Title : Slitting Operator
Department : Production/Slitting Operations
Location : Raipur
Required Skills and Qualifications :
• Industry Knowledge :
• Experience in the steel pipe industry with a strong understanding of slitting operations and coil specifications.
• Expertise in determining slitting sizes and optimizing material usage.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in operating slitting machines and troubleshooting common issues.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and ERP systems for inventory and production management.
• Education and Experience :
• Diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, production, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a slitting operator in the steel pipe industry.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong analytical skills for slitting size planning and material optimization.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in slitting operations.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
