FunctionResearch & Development - JaipurPay BandM3 to M5RoleSTL Transmission Design in EDD- Engine DesignA purpose driven role for youThis role is responsible for mechanical engine and transmission design, electrified hybrid product design and electrical powertrain systems.A Day in the lifeWorking within a Design & Analysis Management team consisting Design Manager, Chief Engineer & Chief Analyst, working together to provide technical & project leadership managing a technical team, ensuring quality standards are continued to be developed and Knowledge of electrical hybrid integration and application is a bonus.Application of basic engineering delivery tools inclusive of; Product Specification, Design Review, DFMEA, DVP/SOR, within the conceptual and definitive phases of any product design delivery.Use of PLM data management systems, TeamCentre knowledge would be advantageous.Academic Qualification & ExperienceMasters Engineering Degree ICE/Transmission SpecializationTechnical Skills/KnowledgeSolid internal combustion engine backgroundExperience in transmission development; manual/automatic/hybrid.Expertise in design/analysis tools including; Catia, ANSYS,etcUnderstanding of FEA processes and applicationsUnderstanding powertrain mechanical & functional development process.Understanding and experience in design methodology and frontloadingProven record of (substantial) work on gasoline and 2 wheeler engines and vehicles, particular for high performance and high efficiency delivery powertrains and associated vehicles.Expertise in design for cost and productionKnowledge/worked on race product preparation particular for Motor Cross & Rally competition.
