Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Supervisor for a landscape project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in overseeing site activities, managing teams, and ensuring the successful execution of landscaping projects from inception to completion. The role requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, site plans, and technical specifications to ensure the quality and accuracy of all work on-site. Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Supervise daily on-site activities, ensuring that the project progresses according to the plan, schedule, and budget. Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, landscapers, and other site personnel. Monitor and ensure that all work meets safety and quality standards. Drawing Interpretation & Site Setup: Read, interpret, and work from detailed landscape construction drawings, including planting plans, site grading, irrigation layouts, and hardscape designs. Coordinate and assist in the layout and staking of the project based on site drawings. Ensure that construction and landscaping tasks align with project specifications and standards. Quality Control & Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work and compliance with project specifications. Address any discrepancies between the work completed and the project design drawings. Ensure that all necessary materials are available and that work is carried out efficiently and accurately. Team Coordination & Leadership: Lead and direct site crew members to ensure effective task completion and timely project delivery. Provide guidance and training to crew members as needed, ensuring they are skilled and knowledgeable in landscaping practices. Communicate effectively with other project stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and clients. Safety & Compliance: Ensure the site operates in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily progress, labor, and materials used on-site. Report any project changes, delays, or issues to the project manager. Assist in the preparation of project reports and updates for clients. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in landscape construction or related field. Strong understanding of landscape drawings, site plans, and technical specifications. Excellent knowledge of landscape materials, construction methods, and horticultural practices. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, such as technical drawings and specifications. Leadership skills and experience managing on-site teams effectively. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction and landscaping industries. A relevant certification or qualification in construction, landscape architecture, or a related field is desirable. Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical stamina to supervise and assist with manual tasks when necessary. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet project

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?28,673.75 per month
