Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee projects and ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating labor and resources, managing subcontractors, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the project site, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other laborers at the site. Assign tasks and ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards. Address any deficiencies promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Keep detailed records of all expenditures and report regularly on budget status.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures on the site, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between contractors, clients, and project stakeholders. Communicate progress, issues, and solutions effectively and promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and risks on site, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve conflicts or disputes as they arise.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in construction.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of construction software and project management tools is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management or related field is advantageous.
