Job Title: SITE SUPERVISOR
Location: ROWGHAT MINES
Reports to: PROJECT INCHARGE
1. Project Management:
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring that construction projects progress according to plans and schedules.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and reporting any delays to project managers.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project specifications and requirements.
2. Team Leadership:
• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment.
• Assign tasks to team members based on skills and project requirements, ensuring that all workers understand their responsibilities.
• Provide training and mentorship to new and existing staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
3. Quality Control:
• Ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and complies with project specifications and local building codes.
• Conduct regular inspections of work being performed, identifying any issues and addressing them promptly to maintain project quality.
• Review materials and workmanship for compliance with safety and quality standards, documenting any non-conformance and initiating corrective actions.
4. Safety Management:
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure that all workers are aware of and comply with safety practices.
• Investigate accidents or incidents on-site, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
5. Resource Management:
• Manage the allocation and utilization of materials, tools, and equipment on-site to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order materials and ensure timely delivery to the site.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, keeping accurate records to prevent shortages and delays.
6. Communication and Coordination:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between on-site personnel, project management, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align schedules and activities with project timelines.
• Report on project status, including progress, challenges, and changes, to management and other relevant stakeholders.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including progress reports, labor hours, and materials used.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to project managers detailing project status, including any issues or concerns.
• Document changes in project scope or specifications and communicate these to relevant stakeholders for approval.
8. Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:
• Identify potential issues or conflicts on-site, proactively seeking solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Mediate disputes among team members, subcontractors, or other stakeholders, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Analyze and resolve unexpected challenges that arise during construction, adjusting plans and schedules as necessary.
9. Compliance and Regulations:
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and environmental standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
10. Site Organization and Maintenance:
• Maintain an organized and efficient site layout to facilitate smooth operations and easy access to materials and equipment.
• Ensure that the construction site is clean and safe, implementing waste management practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Monitor the condition of equipment and tools, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
