The site supervisor for interior and civil projects oversees all on-site activities related to construction, renovation, or remodeling projects. They are responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the project progresses smoothly, meets quality standards, and adheres to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and timelines.
Develop detailed work schedules and resource plans to ensure timely completion of the project.
Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and manpower to the construction site as per the project schedule.
Site Management:
Supervise all on-site activities, including construction, installation, and finishing work.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or deviations from the project plans.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project quality and schedule.
Team Leadership and Supervision:
Provide guidance and direction to on-site staff, including laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
Monitor the performance of the on-site team and address any performance issues or conflicts.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect completed work to ensure that it meets quality standards and specifications.
Address any deficiencies or defects identified during inspections, and ensure timely rectification.
Document quality control processes and maintain records of inspections and corrective actions.
Health and Safety:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all on-site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for on-site staff to promote a culture of safety.
Investigate accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and issues.
Prepare daily progress reports, including work accomplished, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
Document any changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget and communicate them to the relevant parties.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in interior and civil construction projects /Freshers also can apply .
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Male candidates preferred.
