  • To assist the Operation Manager (OM) in managing the assigned site projects crews to
provide effective Leading his team in the development, implementation, and promotion of aproactive safety culture among employees, equipment availability for the Cost per Hourcontract (CPH) and AMC contracts thorough managing the preventative maintenance.
  • Breakdown repair, predictive maintenance, overhauls, and backlog reduction & continuous
improvement projects.
  • Resulting in solid equipment availability and reliability monitor & update planning & recording regimes to maximize component lives using condition.
  • Monitoring and industry best practices, ensuring a solid safety and environmental culture is
priority one.
  • Permanent customer relationship to keep the contract under customer.
  • Satisfaction, cost control, revenues, and profit per machine and per site, responsible to get
the customer approval for monthly availability sheet and later get the signature for the
  • PI for the invoice preparation, collection responsibility of the prepared invoices.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the Management of MRS India Contract with the capability to deliver afirst class Service/product. To be recognized as one of the most effective andproactive when reviewed by the Mining and Construction industry as \xe2\x80\x9cFirst in Mind,First in Choice".To achieve it you need to focus on:Work collaboratively with other stakeholders responsible for Project Deliverables to ensure effective and efficient Contract Execution.Enforce EPIROC policies and guidelines as described in "The Way We Do Things".Ensure that all employees in your area of responsibility maintain a high ethical standard.Safety Health & Environment: - Maintain and enforce a culture of Safety and Healthabove all else along with a strong environmental responsibility.People: Development of people with understanding, knowledge, and ability to instillcustomers with the confidence required to rely on the deliverance and qualityoutput of these individuals. Expectations are for performance at levels comparable.to industry benchmark standards for maintenance contracts. People ManagementProcess covering from Hire to Retire. You will have responsibility for EMIL Employees and Additional Work.Force who are engaged in Mines under your responsibility.Educate Team on all facets of Contract Management and ensure compliance ofContractual Obligations.Offerings.To continually be reviewing the Contract performance to ensure that customer needs and wants are being met through services delivered and are aligned to those requirements. Identify all Risks and Opportunities identified under the Contract in collaboration with BLM-MRS for HZL Operations and set up Actions to mitigate and capitalize respectively.Asset Optimization at sites is to be driven at a high level in active collaboration withCustomer.   • Responsible for the 5\'s program
  • Promote the take 5 SHE reporting.
  • Promote the take 5 reporting system for safety prevention.
  • Enforce work/shop area housekeeping
  • Implement and enforce the 5\'s program in their sites.
  • Minimize the fluid/oil leaks/spills within the shop and operational area ensuring
  • proper measures to avoid environmental contamination
  • Follow and enforce all HSE rules and procedures from EMIL and customer
Planning & Budgeting1. Secure the contractual maintenance KPIs targets, Operational and Financial (KPIs willcover Contract Sales-Contract, Costs-Contract Margins, Revenues and profits foreach piece of equipment. This will be tracked weekly, monthly - quarterly-yearly). Inshort you will need to boost revenue, reduce costs and increase profits.2. Secure proper execution with proper quality level of Backlogs inspections andBacklogs management as well-Planned Preventive Maintenance.3. Action plan implementation for improve the operation under your responsibility,with due date, responsible and measure of achievement. Securing and measuringthe customer satisfaction.4. Secure over 90% of availability in Critical Parts in your Site operation.5. Approve the yearly Plan for major Components replacement and request them toLogistic Department based on the Lead time.6. Approve the stock parts inventory to secure the min-max requirement level.7. Secure good control and proper report. Maintaining detailed finance control of yoursite operation to secure the minimum profitability.8. Prepare the monthly performance report and shared it with the Customer.9. Manage equipment maintenance plans and supply follow up with review for nonconformance to plan with reasons and actions for misalignment to be rectified.10. Review monthly forecasts and plans so alignment and secure sustainability of theproject.Continuous ImprovementManage own performance in a way that earns the team\'s trust through consistent desirablebehavior that up holds the EPIROC values.Lead and contribute to an effective safe, productive team.Client FocusBuild and maintain proactive & productive internal and external relationships.Continually ensuring that the service delivered is in alignment with the contract and EPIROCguidelines as detailed in the contract/project.Technical ExcellenceStrive to ensure EPIROC practices and procedures are the benchmark and innovative,cutting edge technology and industry best practices.Promotes Kaisen reports for innovations on working procedures and reward theirpromoters.PeopleB251. Ensure that all technicians with more than six (6) months of experience workingwith/for EPIROC equipment\'s or contractors have the certification SL12. Ensure that all technicians within twelve (12) months of experience working withEPIROC equipment\'s have the certification SL2.3. Ensure that all technicians with more than six (6) months of experience workingwith/for EPIROC equipment\'s have training and learning validation for the OEM SOPs(Standard Operational Procedures).4. Proper competence development matrix follow up for all employees.5. Proper mentoring execution process, with respective learning validation.6. Proper Coach, to the supervision and upper-level line of reports, Operation Managers (OM).Qualification, Skills and Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
  • Min. 10 years supervisory experience on similar roles
  • including Team Leader, Planners,
  • mechanics/electricians/fitters/artisans/welders.
  • Exposure to working in a large contract Environment.
  • SAP user experienced
  • Training in SL1 and SL2 level
  • Demonstrable understanding of equipment costs and operating influences on costs.
Key competencies required for this role:
