We treasure every talent, and recognize merit and diversity in our organization.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team to Manage Safety and Health of employees and facility at Integrated Product Development Organisation (IPDO) ensuring accident prevention, maintenance of Industrial hygiene and create Safety awareness at IPDO.Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible to ensure a safe work environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards, prioritizing risks, and implementing corrective actions. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct training for employees, review risk assessments, and manage incidents through thorough investigations, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) completion, and continuous monitoring to prevent future occurrences and maintain a risk-free zone.
  • You will be responsible to identify safety training needs, create a training plan and Calendar, execute the training using internal and external faculties, evaluate the training results and take corrective actions if required.
  • You will be responsible to maintain industrial hygiene levels as per specified limits by identifying potential health hazards (Dust Exposure), evaluate the risk profile of the hazard, develop prevention programs post analysis with Corporate Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team when required, monitor implementation of actions based on recommendations
  • You will be responsible for coordination with third party monitoring for industrial hygiene and Air pollution and water pollution.
  • You will be responsible for documentation and process compliance by preparing for audits (Customer & certification), facilitate Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) audits and implement corrective actions based on observations ensuring minimum observations. Coordination with Pollution control board Factories department to comply various government agencies required standards CSM
  • You will be responsible for evaluation and auditing of Contractors related to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Standards.
  • You will be responsible to ensure effective communication and implementation of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) policies and statutory requirements, identifying and addressing any non-compliances through recommendations and monitoring of corrective actions. Facilitate regular workshops and trainings to ensure adherence to local legal and corporate guidelines, while maintaining periodic liaison with relevant authorities for certification renewal and compliance.
  • You will be responsible for Industrial hygiene studies for the products developed at IPDO site.
  • You will be responsible to Lead and drive safety culture transformation
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive emergency response plan, including regular drills and simulations to ensure organisational readiness for potential incidents.
  • You will be accountable for maintaining and updating safety-related documentation, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), risk assessments, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • You will be responsible for conducting regular safety inspections and walkthroughs of the facility, identifying potential hazards, and recommending improvements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • You will be tasked with staying abreast of changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, and implementing necessary updates to the organisation's safety protocols and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, health, and environmental performance, and reporting these metrics to senior management on a regular basis.
QualificationsEducational qualification: M.Sc /M. Tech in Environment scienceMinimum work experience: 8 years of experience in Environment Health Safety ManagementSkills & attributes:
Technical Skills
  • Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State or Central board of technical education.
  • Knowledge on Applicable statutory requirements, various norms related to safety health and Environment, Emergency Management
  • Experience in industrial hygiene
  • Experience in Biomedical Waste Management and Hazardous Waste Management.
Behavioral Skills
