Job Purpose:
To Organize the Project site making sure activities are performed in a Safe manner , within budget and on time
He has to liaison with various stakeholders to ensure project site activity is on track and resources are made available on time.
Key Responsibilities
• Timely and Regular reporting to Head office
• Ensure proper implementation of Safety at Site
• Study Technical Contracts to understand the Project requirements and to raise query in case of any observation.
• Study of documents to have better understanding and preparation before leaving to site.
• Supervising various site activities
• Ensure materials are available for continuity of site activities.
• Monitoring site activities and reporting Site progress in a standard template
• Conducting quality and safety inspections
• Checking of various information received from Head office for its correctness and sharing with the team like drawings , Functional description P&I diagram etc.
• Ensure completeness of control reports
• People's Management
• Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
• Creating record for defending Claim from customer/ or supplier and to generate claim to other parties if there is any such opportunity
• Proper coordination and follow up with HO team related to any site issues / discrepancies at site
• Site closure meeting all contractual obligation.
Education & Experience
• The candidate should be from Engineering background with Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering with more than 15 years of experience in Steel Industry
Background, Skills and Competencies
• He should be from Steel Industry and in particular from Flat Product in Cold Rolling Division like 6 Hi Cold Rolling Mill, CGL /CCL /CAL /PPL /ECL
• Should have worked atleast 6-7 years in the position of Site Manager
• Must have Knowledge of Measuring Tools used at Erection Sites
• Knowledge of Auto Cad , Navisworks and msp is must
• Must be able to prepare various reports in ms office.
• Strong Analytical and Presentation Skill
