Job Description
Hiring for Logistics Site Coordinator for Mumbai
Reporting to the Site Logistics Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading on-site Logistics duties including Inventory Management, movement of Materials, managing Third Party Logistics providers, Scheduling and Coordinating with stakeholders
- Developing optimal process to achieve inventory levels, and optimal inventory replenishment to customer orders on time
- Reviewing inventory levels, Planning and Managing required levels for efficient production
- Engaging actively in review for performance of Logistics Service Providers
- Ensuring Compliance as per required standards, handing Freight payables, order exceptions at sites, and capturing supplier incidents
- Managing daily operations, ad hoc activities and providing transactional support to site
- Providing active insights to Global Supply Planning team and collaborating with Cross functional teams for effective functioning
Ideally you are an Engineer (Chemicals) with at least 5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain and Inventory Management within the Chemicals/Oil/Pharmaceutical industries. You have strong Negotiation, Communication, Collaboration and Problem-solving skills to deliver goals efficiently. You have an eye for Planning, developing insights and strive for best delivery. You have an excellent track record and are open to new challenges.
