We are looking for a Site Lead for Digital Operations and GxP (Generally Accepted Practices) to take charge of IT Operations at the plant, ensuring seamless system administration, operational efficiency, and compliance with GxP standards. Your role involves providing crucial support for business continuity, evaluating and implementing new GxP IT solutions, and actively participating in the implementation of new business initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments for digital transformation initiatives in Quality and manufacturing areas.Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT Operations in the plant, managing system administration and operations, and overseeing IT activities in accordance with procedures and policies.
  • Your role involves providing necessary support to the plant for business continuity and maintaining procedures to achieve 100% uptime of GxP IT functions.
  • Your responsibilities include ensuring plant compliance with GxP IT operations, reviewing procedures during routine operations, and addressing QMS notifications for transparency and compliance.
  • You will evaluate new GxP IT solutions, provide support during proof-of-concept and solution development, and assist in timely solution implementations.
  • Your role extends to supporting the implementation of new business initiatives like MS Team, MS-SharePoint, Yammer, and other applications to align with global business goals.
  • You will be responsible for building strong working relationships with business users, senior management, and other functions for improving user understanding of IT systems and promoting adoption.
  • Acting as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Projects, and other cross-functional teams, you will bring in the right levels of IT expertise.
  • Additionally, you will play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, installation and qualification of new instruments/equipment related to IT, and act as a key enabler for digital transformation initiatives in Quality and manufacturing areas.
All time GxP IT Compliance at Plant : Ensuring plant is in compliance state all the time with respect to GxP IT Operations. Effectively checking and reviewing procedures are being followed and complied during routine operations. QMS notifications are being taken and closed wherever required for ensuring the site is in compliant state in order to achieve transparency and compliance in the plantLiaison between Quality, Engineering, Projects and other Cross functional teams by bringing in the right levels of IT expertise.Key personnel in continuous Improvements related initiatives, new instrument / equipment installation and qualifications for aspects related to IT and key enabler from site for Digital transformation initiatives in Quality and manufacturing areas.Vendor / Solution Evaluation & Management: Evaluating new GxP IT solutions for implementation at the plants. Providing support during POC and solution development for timely completion of activities to achieve new solution implementationsImplement Solutions with Project Execution & Delivery focus :Necessary support being provided during implementation of solution, interacting with the vendor in order to effective solution implementation.QualificationsEducational qualification: A B.Tech.; certifications in IT, Empower, Data Historian, Cloud Computing, etc. shall be beneficialMinimum work experience: 7 to 10 yearsSkills & attributes:Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical IT Compliance, including regulatory frameworks such as GxP and other industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in handling Plant IT operations, including managing and troubleshooting IT systems within a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing IT infrastructure for pharmaceutical facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking related activities, including protocols, technologies, network architectures, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV) processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of MES, DCS and cloud computing would be beneficial.
  • Foundational knowledge of L2 Integration would be beneficial.
Behavioural skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude to address technical issues and challenges encountered in plant IT systems promptly and effectively.
  • Strong People Management capabilities - Team size - 12-15 members
  • Strong capability of managing SLTs and high-level stakeholders
  • Ability to ideate automation process from existing manual processes through digital tools and AI apps
  • Understanding and exposure to work in a Agile methodology in a coding environment
  • Automation Platforms - Any AI Ops
  • Adaptability in handling diverse IT tasks and addressing unexpected issues arising in plant IT environments.
  • Attention to detail in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting plant IT systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
  • Time management skills to effectively allocate resources and address IT tasks according to their urgency and importance.
