We're seeking a Station Manager for Delivery Station for our managing our Delivery Operations. In this role you will be responsible for managing a delivery site in performance management and driving the operational plan.



Title: Site Lead - Delivery Station

Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh



Essential Functions



• Working with the Cluster Operations Manager to ensure smooth function of the Amazon transportation operations
• Preparation of manpower roster for daily operations in lines with the organizational rules & guidelines
• Executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address
• Monitoring daily station operations & ensure that organizational targets are met without any compromise on Customer Promise and associate Safety
• Executing the package pick-up process from customer address to delivery station & connecting the same to origin
• Executing the package pick-up process from seller & connecting that to respective node/ delivery hub
• Ensure enough bandwidth in delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management
• Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
• Asset & infrastructure management which includes maintenance & upkeep, accounting, distribution & custody
• Conduct of various associate engagement activities to ensure smooth operations


Essential Skills

• Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations
• Good communication skills. Ability to communicate and explain to individuals & the team, what needs to be achieved for the Delivery Center /Amazon to achieve its objectives. Listening skills: Gains input and commitment from all involved in delivering their specific part.
• Strong Bias for great customer service: Engage the Team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and knowledge of what Customers actually needs/expects.
• High Ownership: Follows through to ensure the delivery of changes/solutions/services that fulfill the Customer's needs.


Analytical Skills: Effectively analyse and interpret information, identifying & validating the key facts, including reviewing alternatives to determine advantages and associated risks.



• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
