Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project goals, specifications, and timelines.
• Interpret and review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
• Manage and supervise on-site construction activities, including coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
• Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that it meets design standards and safety regulations.
• Enforce safety protocols and address potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets project requirements.
• Manage project schedules and timelines to meet milestones and completion deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of work progress, issues, changes, and communication.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to on-site teams to address challenges and unexpected issues.
• Review and approve construction materials, methods, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permits throughout the construction process.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and make necessary adjustments.
• Participate in project meetings to communicate progress, issues, and updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a site engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Leadership abilities with the capacity to manage on-site teams effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in the construction industry.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permits.
