Job Title: Site Engineer - Video Analytics

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer specializing in Video Analytics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of video analytics systems at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

• Install and configure video analytics software and hardware at client locations.
• Ensure that all systems are properly integrated and functioning as per specifications.

Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for video analytics systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the video analytics systems.
• Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.

Project Management:

• Work closely with project managers to ensure that installations and upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Customer Interaction:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation and maintenance phases.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of video analytics systems.
• Gather and incorporate client feedback to improve service delivery.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and support activities.
• Prepare and present reports on system performance and project status to management and clients.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role involving video analytics systems.
• Proven experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of video analytics hardware and software.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of video analytics technologies and software.
• Proficiency in networking, including IP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with video management systems (VMS) and related software.
• Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
