Site Engineer

Location : Ernakulam
Salary : ?15,000 to ?20,000 per month
Experience : 1 to 2 years
Work Location : All over Kerala (site visits across Kerala)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising and managing site operations, ensuring construction projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and deadlines. You will work on-site across various locations in Kerala, collaborating with contractors, workers, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision : Oversee construction activities, ensuring work is being carried out according to the design, safety standards, and timelines.
• Project Coordination : Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the smooth execution of the project.
• Quality Control : Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets the project's requirements and standards.
• Material Management : Monitor the delivery and use of materials on-site to ensure they are used efficiently and according to the project plan.
• Site Safety : Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site, minimizing risks and promoting a safe working environment.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including reports on progress, labor, and material usage.
• Problem-Solving : Address any technical issues or obstacles that arise on-site, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Reporting : Report on progress, issues, and updates to the project manager or senior engineers.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the design and planning team to ensure that the engineering designs are implemented accurately.

Key Requirements:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience : 1 to 2 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
• Skills :
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and civil engineering practices.
• Proficiency in using construction and project management software.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Knowledge of site planning and project documentation.
