Job Overview:

We are looking for a Site Engineer (Civil) to join our team and manage the construction activities at the site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to oversee various phases of civil construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution :
• Supervise and monitor construction activities, ensuring they meet specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to the approved design and plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines on site.
• Site Supervision :
• Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site.
• Check and ensure that the materials, equipment, and workers are available as per project requirements.
• Inspect the quality of work and materials being used and suggest improvements if necessary.
• Keep records of site activities, daily reports, and progress updates.
• Planning and Coordination :
• Assist in the preparation of the project's schedule, budget, and work plan.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors for smooth project execution.
• Organize and conduct meetings with contractors and workers to resolve issues and keep track of progress.
• Quality Control and Assurance :
• Perform regular checks to ensure compliance with the design and specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections and tests on materials and finished work.
• Implement corrective actions when quality standards are not met.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, work progress, and any incidents that may occur.
• Ensure that all site documentation follows company procedures and regulatory standards.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance :
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure that hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among workers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site management and construction projects.
• Technical Skills :
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Excel and other relevant engineering software.
• Good understanding of building codes, environmental regulations, and local laws.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.

Work Conditions:

• Willingness to work in challenging site conditions.
• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel to various construction sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
