o Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives; o setting out, leveling and surveying the site; o Co-ordination with PMC and understanding the plan, work and work execution. o checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations; o ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; o overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant; o Making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project; o managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect; o liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project; o liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws; o liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress; o day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors; o planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines; o overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site; o preparing reports as required; o Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for the day-to-day operations of build sites, including leading and managing on site staff, homeowners on specific construction tasks. \xef\x83\x98 Deliver consistent and high-quality work utilizing industry standard methodologies and materials. \xef\x83\x98 Coordinate with Project Manager on all sub-contractor scheduling and material ordering. \xef\x83\x98 Monitor and supervise sub-contractors on the site. \xef\x83\x98 Ensure build site has tools and materials needed for day\xe2\x80\x99s task \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for taking deliveries of materials and supplies; ensures all tools and materials are maintained and safeguarded. \xef\x83\x98 Directly responsible for the signing off of permits and inspections. \xef\x83\x98 Review and offer suggestions to the project manager\'s schedule and implement with little or minimal direction. \xef\x83\x98 Adhere to safety policy and practices, and create a positive and encouraging work atmosphere. \xef\x83\x98 Understands all aspects of the building process and reads blueprints expertly.
