Roles & Responsibilities:

Be responsible and accountable for providing leadership in System Integration Engineering on railway projects.

To develop, implement, and direct project System Integration activities covering Sub-Systems (PS&D, Communications / SCADA, Power Rail) and interfaces with Vehicles, Signaling, Services and Infrastructure as applicable for the specifics of the BPLRT project.

Working closely with all the Engineering team, especially the project engineers for interfaces, responsibilities include the evaluation of partner, design and technical interfaces. The emphasis will be the integration of the various engineering and systems engineering disciplines necessary (communications, power supply, power rail, Rolling Stock, Signaling) to achieve the performance requirements of a transit system.

• Lead, develop, control and maintain System Architecture, System Requirement and overall System Design (including System Performance) against Customer Requirement and Product Requirement with special focus on Signalling Migration works. Work with the Project and Engineering teams to ensure the optimal technical solution is deployed.
• Develop System Integration and Interface Management plans and deliver works accordingly in quality time and cost
• Manage, control and maintain Internal and External Interface Management and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Review Subsystem Design, requirement, Architecture and Interfaces to be compliant with the overall System Requirement, System Architecture and System Design
• Support System Integration and Verification of the System Design and System Performance throughout the life cycle including Factory Acceptance Test and Field Test. Monitor, investigate and analyse System performance and System technical findings including evaluate and analyse System data for future improvements
• Ensure adequate resources are available during all phases of the project from design to delivery of the LRT within System Integration.
• Manage System Integration configuration & change management throughout the different phases of the project in line with overall configuration and change management.
• Align with System Assurance and EMC on system integration and interface related SA and EMC requirements as ensure SA and EMC requirements and risks are identified in ICDs
• Prepare System Integration engineering documents, manuals, procedures, method statements etc. required for successful execution of the Project including System Integration customer deliverables in quality, time and cost.
• Collaborate with all Project Engineers and other functional heads
• Interact with the other business units, internal customers, stakeholders and customer, other contractors. Suppliers, and vendors (as required) to ensure that requirements for system integration and interface are communicated.
• Prove input and expert engineering advice to improve product or service offerings and to enhance customer service

Requirements

• Engineering Master Degree or similar education
• 6 years experience in Railway engineering with 3 years of experience in Railway System Integration Engineering.
• Proven track record in managing Systems Integration on a LRT or MRT network.
• Should have held an engineering role in the last three years.
• Good in Documentation and requirement Engineering
