About the team

The Siebel Administrator role is a key role within the Servicing NAP Engineering team not only to manage the Siebel environments and software delivery but to support Worldpays journey towards Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:

To Support, Administer and maintain Siebel environments

Manage and monitor project environments - Perform configuration, change management and maintain environments in operational condition.

Promotion of code and reference data from DEV to Test and beyond through the use of baselined artefacts

Jobs administration, user administration, troubleshooting components

Manage Siebel Security and user access.

Deploy Siebel application (LOV, SRF, Repository, Web Services etc. and contribute to migration preparation and tasks)

To apply Siebel upgrades starting with an upgrade from Siebel v8.14 to Siebel 2021

Testing and installing hot fixes/patches from Oracle

Provide technical support activities to the Development team

Provide On-Call Support as and when required including Weekends

Develop and implement, clear standards, policies, procedures and processes that govern the use of and activities surrounding the platform baselines.

Essential

Working knowledge of Siebel software implementation and maintenance

Implementation of at least 2 Siebel upgrades on a Linux environment

Linux and shell scripting

Troubleshooting and resolving Siebel server issues

Tuning Siebel object managers and servers

Administering Siebel security and user access

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with key stakeholders.

Knowledge of Siebel 8 and above

Working knowledge of Oracle databases e.g. using datapump for environment refreshes, database privileges and roles standards

Good knowledge of Siebel components and their dependencies with each other

Knowledge of creating Siebel application object packages using Application Deployment Manager.
