Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer (Showroom Sales) will be responsible for driving sales and fostering customer relationships within our showroom. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions to enhance their shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for home and lifestyle products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:
o Greet and assist customers as they enter the showroom.
o Understand customer needs and preferences to provide tailored product recommendations.
o Maintain a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing showroom environment.
2. Sales Execution:
o Achieve and exceed individual and showroom sales targets.
o Demonstrate in-depth knowledge
o Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
3. Relationship Building:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
o Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
o Maintain a customer database and manage customer profiles.
4. Sales Strategies:
o Implement effective sales strategies to drive showroom traffic and increase conversion rates.
o Participate in promotional activities and events to attract new customers.
o Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market trends.
5. Administrative Duties:
o Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
o Maintain inventory records and ensure product availability.
o Prepare sales reports and provide insights on showroom performance.
6. Team Collaboration:
o Collaborate with the showroom team to achieve overall sales goals.
o Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategies.
o Assist in training new team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the home and lifestyle products industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
• Knowledge of home decor and furniture trends is a plus.
