The short-term research expert will be an integral part of a team that works on designing and building solutions that address our customer needs and create measurable social impact. In this role, you will be a part of our projects by working hand in hand with the team in problem-solving, working with multiple stakeholders, and contributing to research-driven insights.

In addition, the following will be the key responsibilities:• Develop analytical frameworks and research tools to gather and analyse data.
• Conduct rigorous secondary and primary research and analysis to arrive at the insights needed to solve the problem
• Produce quality client-ready deliverables - powerpoint presentations, word reports etc
• Identify and help mitigate key project risks in consultation with the project lead
• Drive first-level project planning and governance to ensure work streams/ tracks are well managed and are completing timely
• Provide execution/ operational guidance and cover to associates/ analysts on the project - across research, framework development, analysis and report writing
• Lead smaller delivery projects/ tracks independently when required

Key qualifications and experiences

We are looking for individuals who align with our mission of alleviating poverty in our lifetime and have the following profile:• 5+ years of proven experience in leading research projects, preferably in sectors such as Public Health, Gender, Livelihoods, Business sustainability, Human rights etc
• Master's degree in business management or economics/ social sciences/ public health/ systems design from a competent program in India or abroad.
• Experience in engaging clients and stakeholders in social impact/ development sector
• Knowledge of research methods and tools for primary/ secondary research, data analysis etc
• Ability to think critically and break down problems using a solutioning mindset along with a nuanced understanding of applied research and driving research insights
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
