We seek a skilled and experienced Shopify Optimization Specialist to join us as freelancer. The primary responsibility will be to enhance our Shopify store's performance, focusing on optimizing page speed.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a comprehensive audit of the Shopify website to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Optimize page loading speed across desktop and mobile devices to improve user experience.
Minimize and compress assets like images, CSS, and JavaScript files without compromising quality.
Implement best practices for lazy loading, caching, and other speed-enhancing techniques.
Ensure a seamless and responsive user experience while maintaining the website's design and functionality.
Regularly monitor website performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or similar platforms.
Provide regular progress updates and recommendations for further improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in optimizing Shopify websites for speed and performance.
Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, liquid code, and app integration.
Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse).
Expertise in front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of SEO principles and their connection to website speed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with image optimization tools like TinyPNG or ImageOptim.
Knowledge of Shopify features and capabilities.
Familiarity with analytics tools to measure the impact of optimization efforts.
