Job Description

:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Shopify and WordPress Developer to work on both front-end and back-end development tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Shopify and WordPress websites, creating custom themes and plugins, and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites for clients.
• Create and customize Shopify themes and WordPress themes based on client requirements.
• Develop and integrate plugins and apps for enhanced website functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to websites and e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to create user-friendly websites.
• Perform website maintenance, updates, and bug fixes as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with Shopify and WordPress platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Experience with custom theme development for Shopify and WordPress.
• Familiarity with Shopify Apps, plugins, and API integrations.
• Experience with responsive web design and optimizing websites for mobile devices.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with e-commerce optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools for theme customization.
