Partners for impact.What you'll doWe are looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join our E-commerce team.Understand client business domains and drive Digital Business Transformation (DBT) opportunities.Drive architecture, design, estimation, planning, and collaborate with the client to implement solutions.Work on NFRs like security, performance, availability, resiliency, reliability, and maintainability and advocate relevant trade-offs.Collaborate with Senior Managers, Product Managers, and Platform Engineers to define the architecture, engineering practices & guidelines.Work with our customers to define the solution architecture for enterprise e-commerce/ Marketplace solutions using Shopify Plus.Convert business requirements into technical specifications and provide solutions and recommendations for implementation.Implement the solutions and provide technical expertise in designing and planning the solutions.Manage stakeholders to drive key decisions on tools, technologies, user journeys, and overall governance.Strategize with sales prospects and existing clients on innovative technology solutions to mission-critical business needs. Articulate the solutions and quantify cost and timeline estimates in collaboration with other team members.Drive and support business development, including preparing technical responses with estimated project scope, costs, duration, and resource requirements in written proposals.Work closely with architects and engineering teams to define the overall IT strategy.Lead the continuous implementation of new industry standards and development methodologies, including Agile & Kanban, to increase responsiveness and growth.Drive diversification of our teams skills across different technologies, platforms, and business models.What youll bring8xe2x80x9312 years of experience in e-commerce development, with at least 5 years in Shopify/Shopify Plus development.Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and performance optimization.Hands-on experience with third-party apps and APIs, including payment gateways, analytics tools, and marketing platformsExperience integrating Shopify Plus with ERPs, CRMs, DAMs, and other enterprise systemsProven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to technical challengesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systemsKnowledge of global e-commerce markets and omnichannel retail solutionsShopify Plus certifications or equivalent credentials are a plusExperience in Build and Automation tools, Code Quality Plugins, CI/CD Pipelines and Containerization platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience with managing multiple teams in a matrix organizationExposure to headless architectures like Single Page Applications (SPA)Experience with eCommerce, marketplaces, cloud solutions, Continuous Integration, DevOps, middleware, mobile, and content management requiredExperience with other enterprise eCommerce platforms like HCL Commerce, SFCC, and Adobe Commerce is an added advantage.Client-facing skills, Excellent communication skills/influencing skills.
