Job Description

Shopify Configuration and Customization: Analyze and design the Shopify system for Codilar's clients. Utilize your deep understanding of Shopify's capabilities to recommend and implement solutions that align with client goals. Guide the customization of Shopify features and the integration of third-party applications as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Shopify features and e-commerce trends. Recommend improvements to internal processes, client stores, and project management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements Gathering: Conduct detailed requirements analysis and validation with clients. Translate client needs into clear, actionable project objectives and feature lists. Identify strengths and weaknesses in the current client systems and processes.

Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives.

Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with development and QA teams to manage the delivery of project milestones. Ensure that client requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and that final products meet quality standards.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on managing their Shopify store. Ensure they are fully equipped to use the platform effectively.

Provide Shopify learning support to colleague BA's within Codilar.


Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user guides.


Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a Shopify Business Analyst, with at least 5 Shopify projects handled.

Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Shopify's platform and features.

Skills: Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Personal Attributes: Strong client-facing and teamwork skills. Proactive, detail oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Active in collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Ability to adapt and think on your feet.
