Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Oversee the activities of employees during their shift.
• Ensure that staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Motivate and encourage team members to perform their best.
• Address any staff issues or conflicts that arise during the shift.
• Operational Management:
• Ensure smooth operations and continuity of services.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Manage and adjust staffing levels to meet business demands.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Monitor service quality and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Training and Development:
• Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Identify and develop potential leaders within the team.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Prepare and maintain shift reports and documentation.
• Handle cash management and reconcile cash drawers.
• Assist in scheduling and payroll management.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
• Make quick and effective decisions in response to operational challenges.
• Implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Communication:
• Facilitate effective communication between management and staff.
• Conduct shift briefings and debriefings to relay important information.
• Ensure that relevant information is passed on to the next shift manager.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that products and services meet company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality.
• Implement corrective actions when standards are not met.

Industry-Specific Responsibilities

• Retail:
• Manage store opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory control.
• Handle customer transactions and returns.
• Food Service:
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation.
• Manage kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?17,000.00 per month
