Job Description

• Reach site and takeover the shift from the previous shift in charge on time.
• Ensure deployment of manpower and machineries in safe places to avoid any danger.
• Supervision of overall operational efficiency of Excavators
• Supervision of overall efficiency of Tippers
• Ensure that haul road, dumping and working area to be maintained properly for the better output and less breakdown of equipments.
• Ensure the safety wall, Divider and berm is properly maintained to avoid any kind of incident /accident.
• Ensure optimum blasting time to avoid loss of production.
• Ensure proper lighting arrangements in different haul roads and dumping area.
• Monitoring to ensure optimum utilisation of ancillary equipment such as Dozer, Grader and Water Tanker etc.
• Maintain Hindrance Register shift and machine wise as per prescribed format.
• Implementation of Haul road planning and maintain with minimum gradient of 1 in 18 and above within desired super elevation.
• Will ensure operation in optimum lead for different phases of working, will take necessary steps if lead deviate from approved lead.
• Ensure that all workmen in a shift shall wear PPE.
• Responsible for proper hand over of shift to the succeeding Shift In-Charge.
• Ensure the production report in prescribed format is submitted to MIS team at the end of the shift.
• Responsible for developing 2nd Line.
