Your role in the Team

This role will be responsible for the further implementation and development of SharePoint across the organization including the development of custom SharePoint front-end applications utilizing the Microsoft SharePoint Developer Framework (SPFX)..

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Technical escalation for issues relating to main internal hub sites such as the Intranet.

Advise the business on best use and implementation of different SharePoint technologies, Hub Sites, Team Sites, Yammer/Engage etc.

Development of custom apps using the SharePoint Framework with React.

SharePoint Online service management using PNP PowerShell for integration between local servers and third-party applications.

Manage API integration from ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Brightcove

Familiar with node version manager and node product manager.

Create custom server-side scripts and services to manage data from various data sources including, for example, JIRA, ServiceNow and Workday using Patterns and Practices PowerShell Modules.

Developing custom dashboard apps.

Adept in delivering projects through either PRINCE2 or AGILE methodologies depending on the scale of the project and the audience.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need for this role

Highly organized and good attention to detail

Language skills HTML(5), CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, PowerShell, React

Understanding of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Azure PowerShell commands.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues, influence where appropriate, and be comfortable in explaining concepts to people with various levels of business & technical knowledge, varying style and content to suit the audience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.

Proficient in SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SharePoint Framework.

Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools.

Knowledge of SharePoint security models and permissions

Knowledge of SharePoint security models and permissions management.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer certification is a plus.

Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) integration with SharePoint.

Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

Experience of working in an organization with IT delivery centers across the globe and the cultural understanding needed for this

Prior experience of Office 365 migration, including the deployment SharePoint, Teams, Stream, Viva

Experience of migration to Office 365, including the deployment of not only SharePoint, but also Teams, Stream, Flow, Viva connections.
