#### Job Context & Major Challenges


Job Context:

To ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of Raw Materials like Steam Coal, Caustic, Sulphur, Zinc, Lime, Charcoal, Imported & Indigenous Chemicals, Packing Materials etc. to Fiber Process Plant, Energy Center, CS2 & Acid, WTP/ETP and ABCFRC Plant.


Other Major Challenges:

o Effective Management of the whole Supply Chain for critical materials like CSL, HYPO, SULPHUR etc. and managing the inventory effectively.


o Ensuring high quality of all Raw Materials and keeping its consistency.

o Timely Finalization of Major RM Contracts by CPC in coordination with Other Units/Other Business.

o Ensuring Safety in Transportation Contracts and enforcing the Plant Safety Norms in the contract and its adherence in real term.


o Strengthening the RM function by developing new Vendors & Transporters, adopting strategic procurement tools etc. in the platform.

o Submit MIS to management for RM, procurement report, CPC MIS, YTD report, Forex report on monthly basis.

o Ensure successful ISO audits of Purchase Deptt and taken active role for OSHAS 18000 certifications.

KRA1 Inventory Management -


Timely Renewal of Contracts -


Cost Optimization - 1. To ensure effective Inventory Management as per Planning & Budgeting for the major Raw Materials.

2. To ensure timely renewals and contract finalization of major RM Transportation Contracts.

3. Provide Diesel impact to the transporters as per the Diesel Escalation/De-escalation clause of the contract.

4. Proper documentations of Linkage Coal like Annual Documents for FSA Renewals, Documents for Internal Audit Purpose etc.

5. Savings in Procurement Cost of Raw Materials as compared to P&B by incorporating the Pricing Analysis, Execution of Long Term Contracts with better Volume Discounts, Negotiation through RA etc.


KRA2 Quality Control -


Vendor Satisfaction -


Stock monitoring - 1. Quality monitoring of all Raw Materials and ensure the consistency in better quality by developing new qualitative Vendors, understand the issues in quality of existing Vendors and steps to improve it and avoid frequent rejections.

2. To develop online system of coal sampling and analysis result through online system.

3. Cross check the coal analysis result which is transferred/feeded in SAP and result giving by third party.

4. To clear advances of Raw material and freight with debtors & creditors for recovery & settlement of payment.

5. Ensure timely preparation of GRN of all Raw Material receipts and Timely Payments to the vendors and Contractors as per the Contract/PO terms.

6. To update daily RM stocks to CPC and unit management for proper monitoring and control.

7. Physical verification of Steam Coal from External Agency as per SOP.


KRA3 Procurement of substitutes / Vendor Development -


Joint Projects -


Safety - 1. Procurement of substitutes like molten sulphur in place of Granular with long term contracts both for Materials & Transportation.


2. Participate in Spot/Forward e-auction in WCL to get domestic coal at cheaper rate where imported coal price goes adverse.

3. Further include maximum contracts in Joint Procurements to get the volume advantages.

4. To take safety Observation round and Enter the same in Enablon.

5. Prepare HIRA for purchase deptt. and Personal Safety action plan.


KRA4 Team Management - 1. To develop team to take new assignments.




Qualifications:

Master Of Commerce,Bachelor Of Engineering


Minimum Experience Level:

8-12 Years
