Job Description


:To provide medical services to PLCW employees and their families and others as per the companypolicy. Emergency and critical care services round the clock. To conduct pre-employmentexamination and annual medical check ups as per legal requirement. To creat initiatives for awareness for health promotion, diseases prevention as well as impart trainings on First aid/CPR on time to time basis.Key Result AreasSupporting ActionsAccountability:

Daily Routine & Emergency :Outdoor,indoor & Emergency patient care,Housekeeping,Clinical Laboratory , Pharmacy,Waste disposal , Hospital administration,Preventive Health Care :Awareness on health promotion ,disease prevention,initiatives as per wellness calender Diagnostic camps , Immunization.Statutory Requirement :Pre employment examinationAnnual medical check-upFirst aid training and servicesBio-medical waste managementCurative care :Curative care:
  • Free consultation camps * Liaison with outside doctors and professionals * Minor emergency procedures ( Critical and emergency care )
Maternal Health care:
  • Ante-natal care * Counseling * Family
Planning services * Pre-natal advise to eligible couples* Promotion of institutional deliveries * Post-natal care *Visit of obst. & gynae specialist as per requirement* Promotion of breast feeding Child Health :
  • Universal immunization program * Visit of pediatric specialist as per requirement*
Awareness on nutrition & General care * Orientation on parenting and counseling * Master school health checkup
  • Pulse polio * Healthy baby contest * Liaison &
referral servicesGeneralGeneral :
  • Helping government in implementing all
national and international health programs.
  • Routine visit to hazardous areas to update the situation * Regular feedback and effective communication all round
  • To advocate for healthy workplace. * Collect data on workers health, environmental hazards and to asses needs and health concern of the workforce.
  • To mobilize and train the staff to develop departmental plans of action for health promotion in their workplace.
