:Job PurposeOrganize, co-ordinate and monitor Electrical related maintenance, repair and project activities of Kiln, Coal Mill , Preheater MH section to ensure maximum section availability & improve productivity at optimum cost. Monitor & ensure implementation of capex activity within schedule & optimum budget. Energy conservation & ISO compliance to improve plant productivity and customer satisfaction. Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.Job Context & Major ChallengesJob Context:
Kotputli Cement Works is one of the largest Cement Plant in India with an installed capacity to produce 4.0 Million Tons of cement per annum & having Captive power plant (2x23 MW), WHRS (16MW) and Mining lease of 548.78 hectors. KCW plant is an ISO 50001 certified & has a state of art technology in Electrical & Instrumentation field, like all the Process Fans are run through MV/ LV Drives, all the MCCxe2x80x99s are intelligent type with a Profibus communication, all the electrical energy consuming devices are monitored through energy management system. Process is fully automated with DCS control system, CBA, advanced XRF for quality assurance and Eye on Wheel for inbound/ outbound vehicle management system. At KCW the Load Centers and sub-stations are maintained upto the world best standard. Electrical safety standards adopted are of world class. WCM culture is adopted by all employees and workmen. Major equipments of plant are supplied by M/S KHD Humboldt Wedag Ltd., Germany and Loesche. The plant runs on own2X23 MW Captive power plant, 16 MW WHRS which is connected with Grid at 132 KV voltage level and ensure stable voltage & frequency. All electrical equiments are of latest design & highly efficient.Major Challenges:1. Leading Kiln,PH,coal mill,DCS,XRF,CBA and AAQMS E&I team to resolving instrument, control & electrical technical issues. Assurance maintaining logs and verifying all items are correct prior to pre-inspection. Assisting in developing the annual and multi-year instrument, control & electrical plan, ensuring that the annual plan is correctly inserted into SAP, Ensuring Kiln,PH,coal mill,DCS,XRF,CBA and AAQMS E&I jobs adhere to planned cost and timeline and tracking Via SAP.
2. Improvise equipment reliability, reduce repetitive stoppages and stretch MTBF by continuously developing and implementing stand by systems
3. Identify obsolete systems from time to time and securing on time technical support for upgradation of the same.
4. Erection and commissioning of new projects
5. Analyzing continuously various process parameters and develop process / equipment / safety interlocks and power reduction measures in Kiln,PH,coal mill,DCS areas by modifying Logic from time to time to ensure efficient and cost effective operations.
6. To ensure safety of men & machinery.
7. To share & enhance knowledge on all E&I systems among colleagues of E&I team and Motivate workers & staff to take responsibility beyond their working area.

KRA1 Accountability- Maintenance Jobs: Supervise & coordinate all E&I maintenance activities of his section to maximise the equipments availability to achieve production as per targets.
Study stoppage report, why-why analysis, study checklist, Identify improvement area. Take plant round analyse abnormalities & take corrective / preventive actions. Implement Kaizens.
Organise & supervise maintenance jobs, coordinate for condition monitoring & develop SAP data.
Scheduling & organize shutdown jobs.
Workout material/ manpower requirement & organize.
Prepare indents. Followup for material requirement.
Ensure and Calibration of the equipment without any deviation.
KRA2 Cost Optimization: Study and analyse power consumption of his section compared to budget norms and implement wenergy conservation / action plans to optimise power consumption
Prepare budgets. Monitor actual cost with budget. Take corrective actions to optimize maintenance cost (spares & manpower). Control over-time.
Monitor & review material requirements & control inventory.
Attend task force meeting, Implement action plans.
KRA3 Modification/ Upgradation/ Capex/ project: Identify and prepare proposals of modifications / upgradations for improvement in plant. Analyse problems, trippings, breakdowns, Carryout why-why analysis & FMEA. Identify areas requiring improvement, review drawings / specifications & formulate proposal.
Execute approved proposals/ Capex projects within time & safely.
Attend improvement meetings. Review Technical Cell suggestions and implement.
KRA4 System Management: Organise and implement IMS, EMS ISO 50001 and WCM systems in his area of operation through the involvement of people to improve quality standards and productivity.
Identify and execute improvement plan and kaizen.
Identify abnormalities, spillage/ leakages unsafe conditions/ practices & get rectified.
5S activities. Points emerged in campaigns. Execute implementation plan for strategic quality projects. Improvement of WCM criteria score. EMS targets. Internal customer rating improvement. ISO system improvement. Statutory compliance. Improvement in OEE/MTBF/MTTR, Elimination of muda. Prepare/present weekly/ monthly WCM presentation. Develop one point lesson. Develop Model area. Actively taking lead in meetings for implementation good practices in improving associated KFA and GRT performance and carry out internal audits to ensure effective implementation of systems.
Taking corrective & preventive actions against findings internal and external audit/ assessments finding for timely closure for 100% compliance.

KRA6 Safety & statutory compliance: Carryout timely inspection of all jobs required as per Electrical Inspectorate/ statutory guidelines and ensure their timely compliance.
Carryout the required checking, testing as per guidelines.
Maintain statutory records of the observations. Take corrective measures for deviations.
Create safe environment at workplace, Implement safety improvement plans & ensure 100% safety compliance.
Monitor working of line clearance system. Identify & rectify unsafe conditions & unsafe practice in the area.
Identify & carryout need base/ refresher training to staff & workmen on electrical safety & all SOPxe2x80x99s.
