:This Position is for Kolhapur And JB 10Job PurposeTo coordinate in carrying out day-to-day administrative activities including timely and proper canteen services, housekeeping, guest house maintenance etc. To coordinate in organizing welfare activities in addition to ensuring proper monitoring of the entry-exit of all vehicles in factory premises. To plan CSR initiatives and provide inputs for further CSR interventions.Job Context & Major ChallengesThe HR department manages around 614 workers and around 106 contract workers in addition to the staff and sub-staff employees. The workers are unionized under the union name of Rashtraywadi Kamgar Sanghatna (13 member representation) which is affiliated to Rashtraywadi Congress Party. The Long Term Settlement (LTS) is signed once in every 3 years.
The absenteeism of workers is very low at around 1.04% which has been maintained since long through direct intervention of department HODs in cases of long absenteeism, late coming etc.
The employees are covered under three insurance schemes- Group Accident Policy, Group Term Life Plus Policy and Group Mediclaim Policy. The workers are also covered under Workmen Compensation policy as per statutory requirements.Challenges
