#### Job Purpose


To engage in financial analysis and coordinate in finalizing accounts on monthly basis. To coordinate in ensuring adherence to regulatory compliances related to direct and indirect taxation. To document, maintain and share information regarding financials to various internal and external authorities

#### Job Context & Major Challenges


The company was established on 15th Feb 2007 by registering with the ROC (Registrar of Companies) in Delhi. Initially the finance and accounts work was outsourced and was handled by an agency in Delhi. In 2008, with the recruitment of finance and accounts team the work has been handled by the in-house team.

The department is responsible for short term & long term financial and commercial health of all the GPFPL unit of the Textiles Business including Risk Management, Economic Feasibility of Business Strategy and recommending capital expenditure plan.

For the ease of Turkish owners, majority of bank related work such as submission of compliance related documents, coordination with bank officials regarding Bank Guarantee etc. is done from Mumbai bank branches. Thus, it was the Turkish management's decision to appoint one person in the Mumbai office considering that the services provided by the Mumbai bank branches were more advanced and preferred by the Turkish owners.

Challenges

1. Meeting regulatory and management timelines in heavy workload phases

2. Information needs to be sent out to range of stakeholders in prescribed format on very frequent basis, which requires lot of time investment

#### Key Result Areas



KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)


KRA1 To engage in financial analysis- Estimating and sharing financial projections as needed


- Engaging inn balance sheet analysis and undertaking further analysis regarding any balance sheet deviations


- Analyzing MIS balance sheets in addition to analyzing cash flow in P&L statements



KRA2 To coordinate in finalizing accounts on monthly basis- Explaining different transactions and formats for data entry to team members


- Ensuring adherence to various laws, rules and accounting standards in accounting


- Reviewing accounting frameworks and formats use din financial accounts


- Reviewing and providing inputs with regard to balance sheets


- Preparing final balance sheet



KRA3 To coordinate in ensuring adherence to regulatory compliances- Filing returns and attending scrutiny assessments regarding regulatory compliances related to direct taxation


- Filing transfer auditing report, transfer pricing report, income tax report etc. as part of regulatory compliances under direct taxation


- Ensuring adherence to compliances related to indirect taxation such as GST



KRA4 To document, maintain and share information regarding financials to various internal and external authorities- Coordinating with various internal and external authorities such as auditors, officials etc. in sharing financial information





Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant


Minimum Experience Level:

6-12 Years
