SETTY is a place of a lively and genuinely collaborative environment with great opportunities to contribute and grow.Responsibility:- Lead the design of advanced mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for various building projects.- Ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with architects and construction teams to deliver seamless, integrated mechanical solutions tailored to client needs.- Perform mechanical load and energy calculations using software such as Trace3D Plus, HAP, IES, EQuest, and Design Builder.- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for accurate duct, pipe, and plumbing layouts.- Analyze client layout plans, equipment details, site information, and reports to prepare HVAC and plumbing base designs.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments for smooth project coordination and handle all design phases for diverse projects, including retail, commercial, residential, schools, renovations, recreational facilities, and pools.- Develop HVAC and plumbing system schematics and conduct calculations for air, hydronic, steam, and plumbing systems through all design stages.- Create engineering designs, drawings, and documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements and permitting standards.- Prepare data sheets, specifications, material requisitions, and mechanical LEED documentation, and upload to the USGBC website.- Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, conduct code analysis, and stay updated with ASHRAE 90.1 Standards and International Building Code.- Use IT tools like Word, Excel, and Outlook for project documentation and communication.- Execute MEP packages, including fire protection, plumbing, and systems for PHE, medical gas, and natural gas piping.- Prioritize tasks, solve problems effectively, perform field visits, code reviews, and develop punch lists for project closeouts.Qualifications:- Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with a sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals.- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within building services, with a minimum of 5 to 12 years of relevant experience.- AutoCAD & Revit proficient.- Proficient knowledge of psychometrics.- IGBC AP, USGBC LEED, WELL AP a plus.- Demonstrated leadership experience.- Good communication skills essential for team-based working.- Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.- Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
