Job Title: Setter

Experience:4 to 6 Yrs

Location: Sadasivpet, Sangareddy

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Setter to join our mechanical manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining machinery in a production environment. The Setter will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly by setting up tools, adjusting machinery, and performing regular maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and maintain production machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machine setup.
• Conduct pre-production machine inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and calibrations as required for various production runs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that all machinery is operating efficiently and that production output meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to schedule and optimize machine operations.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and tools to extend their lifespan and maintain production quality.
• Monitor and inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production output.

Qualifications:

• ITI certification in Fitter, Turner, or related trades with a Setter background.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in setting up and operating machines in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with a range of mechanical manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
