Recognized globally for quality as it holds ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 50001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications and registered on the London Metal Exchange as Grade-A copper brand.The job context of this position to support in planning and delivery CSR activities for the Birla copper plant- unit of Hindalco, to help and support the company by developing various community development projects for surrounding villages. The role also supports in expansion of sustainable CSR initiatives through updating the process with supporting analysis.Major Challenges:
  • Timely Implementation of planned CSR projects.
  • Ensure External stakeholders engagement like communities, Government bodies like Grampanchayats , Taluka Offices, NGOs.
  • Ensuring frequently monitoring and review of the multiple CSR projects ongoing simultaneously at different locations.
  • Timely payment of invoices raised.
  • Collecting data from different stakeholders making it challenging to share the report of all CSR projects in timely manner.

  • Provide support in acquiring budget approval & project approvals from the Management.
  • Timely monitoring and review the CSR projects.
  • Provide planning and updates on CSR activities by providing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Engage communities for the sustainability of the project.
  • Timely raise invoices of CSR projects expenditure and ensure timely payment.
  • Maintaining records/data digitally and in hard copies.
  • Making indent, PR etc.
External stakeholders Management
  • Organize meeting and develop coordination with local communities, Gram panchayats, various Government stakeholders at village, taluka and district levels (weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly)
  • Supporting in Identifying needs of the communities through meetings for designing need base CSR projects.
  • Identify Government requests for supporting various community development projects, relief support etc.
Internal Stakeholders
  • Coordination with various internal departments for implementing CSR projects. (HR, Finance, Purchase, Civil, Environment, Safety etc.
