Whether it's freight rail, transit, mining, industrial or marine, our expertise, technologies, and people - together - are accelerating the future of transportation.Role Summary/PurposeProvide leadership role in Shed Operation and coordinate with internal team for workorder management. Inform the material requirement for FMI/FTOn. Communicate with Customer for locomotive movement and report submission.Essential ResponsibilitiesThe STM will be responsible for timely opening and closing of work order. All Contractual reports to be generated and data to analysis and share with management team.The STM will be responsible for daily connect with the customer for locomotive in/out movement from the shed.The STM will be responsible for regular connect with PR teams for locomotive attention in the field.Ensure timely inbound /outbound shed inspection is done jointly with IR and loco is placed at next spot. Ensure proper washing of loco within allotted timeEnsure the Safe Shunting of locomotives/ Shunting with ZEHPIR. Responsible for track maintenance inside the shedEnsure all work performed follow safe and environment friendly practices.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelorxe2x80x99s in Engineering/ Diploma in engineering or applicable technical training with 12+ years applicable operations experience in maintenance of Locomotives, and/or transportation/rolling stock equipment.Willingness to work in 24x7 operations - different shifts, various days.Experience/exposure to IT tools for the purposes of planning and executing work.Ability lead teams in a shop environment.Good communication skills with aptitude for managing teams & multiple functional stakeholders.Prior experience in the Rail transportation industry.Desired Characteristics

• Work experience of managing locomotive shed operation

• Ability to analyze data and analysis for the turn out time locomotive performance data, records, reports including loco self-test data

• Should be capable to adopt and effectively implement IT systems related to monitoring & analysis the Locomotives maintenance data.
