Overview:
Service Now Specialist is responsible for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow platform, which is a cloud-based IT Service Management (ITSM) and business process automation solution. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand business requirements and translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. ServiceNow Configuration and Customization:
• Develop and implement solutions using ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other relevant applications.
2. Requirements Gathering:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for ServiceNow implementations.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and design solutions within the ServiceNow framework.
3. Workflow Design and Automation:
• Design, develop, and implement workflows and automation processes within the ServiceNow platform to optimize business processes.
• Ensure that workflows align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
4. User Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use and 5.navigate the ServiceNow platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations and functionalities.
• Integration Management:
• Collaborate with integration teams to design and implement integrations between 6.ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and other applications.
• ServiceNow Administration:
• Perform administrative tasks, including user and group management, role configuration, and platform maintenance.

• Reporting and Analytics:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for training and reference purposes.
10. Collaboration with IT Teams:
• Work closely with IT teams, including development, infrastructure, and support, to align ServiceNow solutions with broader IT strategies.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address organizational needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Specialist or Administrator.
• ServiceNow certification(s) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide), APIs, and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
